Retha Mae Cron (Seymour)'s Obituary
Retha M. Cron, wife of the late Lawrence J. Cron, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at her home in Seymour, Missouri. She was sixty-nine years, eight months and nine days of age.
She was born Retha Mae Powell on July 6, 1945, to Willis Raymond and Laura Mae (Schwatken) Powell, in Elk City, Kansas. Retha wed Lawrence Joe Cron on July 29, 1972. They were married for thirty-six years before his passing on November 2, 2008. Retha was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lawrence. She is survived by sons, Ron Cron and wife, Ursula, of Northview, Missouri, and Zeb Cron and wife, Dahna, of Seymour; and daughter, Stacey Cron of Rome, Georgia; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and her brother, Dale Powell and wife, Tina. Memorials in Retha’s honor are suggested to Eastern Star or the Children’s Miracle Network. There are no services planned at this time.
