Retha Sanders (Hartville)'s Obituary
Retha Ilene Sanders, daughter of Elmer and Gertie Davidson Lemons, was born October 17, 1924 near Hartville, Missouri and departed this life on November 24, 2018 at her home, east of Hartville, at the age of ninety-four years, one month, and seven days.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Glendale Sanders, and to this union four children were born. Lloyd preceded her in death on August 31, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Retha is survived by three sons, Herbert Sanders and wife, Donna Sue, of Nixa, Tommy Sanders and wife, Helen, and Clayton Sanders all of Hartville; daughter, Sharon Miller and husband, Buster, of Ozark; grandchildren, Ryan Miller and wife, Kiana, Lauren Henry and husband, Brian, Matt Sanders and wife, Angie, Amanda Sanders, Glenn Sanders and wife, Carrie, Andrea Sanders and husband, Taylor Harper, Ty Sanders and wife, Brandy, Sabrina Garton and husband, Zach, Stephanie Layne and husband, Justan, and Travis Sanders and wife, Emily; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She lived her entire life in the Hartville area and attended Coon Creek School.
Retha was a devoted wife and mother and loved working side by side on the farm, with Lloyd, until his passing.
In her spare time, she enjoyed garden work, sewing and baking.
Retha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will always cherish the many wonderful times we had together.
