Reuben L. Rowe (Seymour) 's Obituary
One of four boys, Reuben Lester Rowe was born May 16, 1936, in Sidney, Montana, to Fred L. and Alma B. (Syth) Rowe. He departed this earthly life on Friday, August 26, 2016, at his home in Fordland, Missouri, with loved ones at his side.
Reuben attended school in Noxon, Montana, and graduated in 1955. He worked for the Montana Forest Service before coming to Missouri in 1962, where he bought a farm and worked at Dayco Rubber. Reuben married Anna Dee Warner on March 26, 1970. They have shared many blessed years together. He was a Christian man and re-dedicated his life to the Lord in 1971. Reuben was a member of the Higher Vision Church in Rogersville, Missouri, where he also taught Sunday School.
Reuben was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Norene Ritchie; a stillborn son in April of 1973; and a stepson, Larry Warner, in January of 2016. Reuben leaves behind his beloved wife, Anna, of the home; his three children, Ronny and Jamie Rowe, of Poynette, Wisconsin, Fred and Barbara Rowe, of Spring Hill, Kansas, and Lissa and Gregg Fox, of Seymour, Missouri; two stepchildren, Gary and LaDonna ‘Sue’ Warner, of Rogersville, Missouri, and Sherry and Jack Miller, of Springfield, Missouri; his four grandchildren, Jason and Amanda Rowe, of Linwood, Kansas, Janelle Rowe, of Spring Hill, Kansas, Jessica and Jeff Prewitt, of Seymour, and Emily and Jeremy Zimpel, of Madison, Wisconsin; seven step-grandchildren Lori and Kirk Rust, Jennifer Clouse, Cara and Chris Simmons, Heather and Nick Huckstep, Holly and John Upthegrove, Larry Warner Jr., and Anna Dee Bogle; his great- and step-great-grandchildren, Sabana, Cahaya, Noel, Lindsey, Justin, Ashley, Bryson, Brett, Cody, Hunter, Hagen, Holton, Jack, Luke, and Kayla; and step-great-great-grandchildren, Calley, Hadley, Preston, Carson, Keeton, Kyler and Oakley; his brothers, Burnell and Betty Rowe, of Kingman, Arizona, Louis and Janet Rowe, of Richmond, Missouri, and Earl and Dana Rowe, of Missoula, Montana; and a host of extended family and dear friends. Reuben Rowe was a good Christian Man who served God and whose main goal was to offer witness, save, and touch the lives of those he could. He set an example in his service to the Lord for all of his children and grandchildren to follow. Reuben loved his wife dearly, and together they lovingly raised their family. He will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed enough to know and love him.
