Rex Williams (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Rex Williams, 77, died Wednesday May 6 at his home in Fair Play, MO where he had lived all his life. He was born to Homer and Mable Freize Williams on April 11, 1938. He had attended Shady Grove and Fair Play Schools. He served in the Army reserved for 7 years.
In 1964 he married Louise Gladden which they where married for 51 years. To this union was born two daughters and one son.
His great passion was farming and the love of International tractors. He loved to go to tractor shows of any kind. He loved his dog Peanut which he called his second son.
He was preceded in death by parents Homer and Mable Williams and father in law and mother in law Dean and Mary Lou Gladden. He is survived by his wife Louise Williams of the home. Daughter Kim Williams and friend Marshall Logan of Fair Play. Daughter Deana Jenkins and husband Gene Jenkins of Fair Play, MO. Son Jimmy Williams and wife Alesha Williams of Clever, MO. He has seven grandchildren. Vanessa Barnett, Jeremy Lantrip, Shane Cagle, Jessica Siler, Lucas Packer, Cody Jenkins and Rylan Williams. Eight great grandchildren. Draven, Delany, Dawson, Temperance, Tori, Rodney, Marshall, Clayton. One Aunt Ruth Smith and sister in law Helen Stephens and brother in law Wayne Gladden.
Rex will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and neighbors. Especially his friends in the neighborhood club.
