Rhonda Lynn Johnson (Seymour)'s Obituary
Rhonda Johnson, beloved wife, mother and sister, departed this life on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at fifty-four years, nine months and eight days young.
One of three children, she was born Rhonda Lynn Cannon on June 16, 1961, in Exeter, California, to Shelby Gene and Evelyn Sue (Hittson) Cannon. The Cannon family moved to Mansfield in September of that same year where she and her brothers were raised. Rhonda was a graduate of the Mansfield High Class of 1979. Upon graduating, Rhonda worked for Emerson at their plant in Ava, Missouri, for over fifteen years until they closed their doors. On December 31, 1994, she married Roger Lee Johnson and to this union two sons were born and they made their home in Seymour. Rhonda was a member of Seymour Freewill Baptist Church. Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents. She leaves behind her devoted husband of twenty-one years, Roger, of the home in Seymour; their sons, Nikita Johnson and Dallas Johnson, both of Seymour; brothers, Wayne Cannon and wife, Theresa, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Bradley Cannon, of Springfield, Missouri. Rhonda will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
