Richard Bradshaw (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Richard Eugene Bradshaw, son of William and Mary Glass Bradshaw was born December 7, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on November 27, 2012 in Glenwood Healthcare Center in Seymour, Missouri at the age of sixty-five years, eleven months and twenty days.
He was married to Sandy Bradshaw and to this union two children were born. In 2004 he was united in marriage to Carol Sue Ledman Johns.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Mary Bradshaw.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home; a son, Tom Bradshaw and his wife Rachel of St. Louis, Missouri; a grandson, Elliott Bradshaw; three step-sons, Michael Johns of Union, Missouri, Thomas Johns of Macomb, Missouri and William Johns of Bruce, Mississippi; a step-daughter, Samantha Miles of Everton, Missouri; eight step-grandchildren, Marshall Johns, Ethan Johns, William Johns, Blake Johns, Mason Miles, Keith Miles, Stormy Miles and Sarah Pues.
Richard was born, raised and lived in the St. Louis area most of his life. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army and after being honorably discharged, he worked for several years for Chrysler Corporation in St. Louis. In 2003 he moved to the Mansfield/Macomb area where he lived until his passing.
Richard had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mansfield First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Clarence King Post #128 of the American Legion, Wild Turkey Federation and National Rifle Association.
In his spare time he loved fishing, hunting, archery and listening to music.
Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will always cherish the wonderful memories.
