Richard Graves (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Richard "Dick" Graves, 61, of Dunnegan, Mo., died August 1, 2016 at CMHCF in Bolivar, Mo., after battling cancer. He was the son of Curtis and Ruth Graves, of Fair Pay, Mo. Richard was born May 9, 1955 in Ventura, California, the third youngest child of seven children. His family moved to Missouri in 1962 to a farm northeast of Fair Play.
In his younger years, Dick worked at the lumberyards in Bolivar and Ozark. He worked several years at the Ozark Box Company in Humansville. He spent over 10 years working for Cedar County Road & Bridge until retiring in 2012 due to health reasons.
Dick enjoyed fishing and classic cars. He spent many hours fishing with his nephews.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Ruth, and an infant sister. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Graves; three brothers, Larry Graves and wife Janette of Fair Play, Harry Graves and wife Shelly of Humansville, and Russell Graves and wife Lori of Dunnegan; two sister, Linda Lahmon of Fair Play and Joyce Dennis and husband Michael of Fair Play; as well as many nieces and nephews.
