Richard Gromowsky (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Richard Allen Gromowsky, son of Ronald W. and Linda L. Nutter Gromowsky, was born August 15, 1967, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Monday, November 21, 2011, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-four years, three months, and six days.
On September 19, 1992, he was united in marriage to Kelly J. Kenfield, and they shared the last nineteen years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Donald Leighton, Jr.; and a brother, Donald Leighton, III.
Rick is survived by his wife, Kelly, of the home; three sons, Keith Rogers, Danny Rogers, and Darrell Rogers, all of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Gromowsky, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Rusty Gromowsky, of Bowling Green, Missouri; two sisters, Angel Gromowsky, of Buffalo, Missouri, and Constance Reid, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. He continued to make his home in Lebanon, for most of his life, and worked as a brick mason through the years.
Rick professed his faith in Christ and was baptized into the Tabernacle Baptist Church when he was a child. He continued to follow the Baptist faith throughout his life.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, and hanging out with his buddies. He liked watching sports, and was a fan of the Kansas Chiefs Football Team. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren.
Rick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
