Richard L. Howe (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Richard Lynn Howe was born at the Plummer Griffith Clinic in Buffalo, Missouri on May 12, 1955, and departed this life for his eternal home on June 25, 2022 at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. He was the second son of Billy Wayne and Maxine (Lemons) Howe. At the time of his passing, he was 67 years, one month, and 13 days of age.
Richard was saved and baptized early in life and joined the Union Mound Church. He attended school in Buffalo and graduated in 1973. He went to work for the City of Buffalo for awhile and then went to Reyco Granning in Springfield in the foundry until it closed. Richard then went to R & W Industries and worked there until his health no longer permitted. He married the love of his life, Jacquelyn Austin on November 21, 1975, and they had 46 years together. Richard enjoyed spending his time working on the farm.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Glenn and Velma Austin; and his step-father-in-law, Ray Austin. He is survived by his wife Jackie; his brother, Larry and wife Helen Howe; two nephews, Steven Howe and Chris and wife Shauna Howe; one great-nephew, Hunter Howe; three great-nieces, Sierra Amber and Khloe Howe; and one great-great-nephew, Cooper Howe, all of Elkland, MO; his brother, Terry and wife Brenda Howe; and two nephews, Nathan and Eric Howe of Buffalo, MO. Richard loved his family and would help them any way he could.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in the Union Mound Cemetery with Bro. Freddy Brinkley officiating. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
