He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hannah Emily Keeton; and a brother, Bob Keeton.
Richard is survived by three daughters, Janene White, and her husband, Jeffrey, of Lebanon, Missouri, Vickie Beams, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Leanne Blankenship, of Great Falls, Montana; six grandchildren, Mike, Beth, Ashley, Melissa, Anna, and Brittney; eight great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Jaxon, Layla, Carter, Jamie, Kala-laya, Amelia, and Emma; three brothers, Lloyd Keeton, of the State of Florida, Jeffrey Keeton, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Bud Severn, of the State of Iowa; a sister, Kathy Regan, of Shenandoah, Iowa; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in Iowa where he graduated from high school. He then made his home in Omaha, Nebraska for a number of years, where he worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment mechanic. After retiring, he and Emily moved to Lebanon, Missouri in 2004, to be near his wife’s family.
He enjoyed mowing the lawn, and tinkering with things in his garage. He was pretty much a homebody who enjoyed his private life and didn’t get out much. He loved his family and enjoyed having time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Richard was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made with them over the years.
