I am sorry to hear of your loss.
Our sympathy to you Betty and your family. Richard will always be remembered by our family through his family and your singing group. Which the Lord Blessed so many people with. Love and Prayers to you gal, Clifford and Dorothy Brawley
Betty, Richard was a man that for some reason I thought would never die, and I know better than that. The Bible says, that it is appointed unto man once to die and then the jugdment. However, during my devotions this morning I realized, and rejoiced in the fact that he is just changing bodies and addresses, and I rejoiced again. Our hope is in Jesus, and my prayer is that you will rest on His breast in the days and moments ahead. I loved Richard and I love you and will hold you up in pray, Max Rhoades
Just thinking of Richard puts a smile on my face. I have many great memories of hearing him & Betty in the New Life Quartet and sharing many Gospel singing's with them. He was always such a pleasant person to be around and just a fine man. I can only imagine how much he will be missed, but I know the fruits of his life were in his faith, and I can't think of a better legacy to leave behind than to welcome us all to see him again in Heaven. Thanks for the memories.
