Richard Triplett (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Richard Larry Triplett, son of Dennis A. and Winifred Lillian Mann Triplett, was born February 8, 1945, near Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Monday, March 12, 2012, in Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, one month, and four days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Norris Triplett.
“Bear”, as he was lovingly called by his family and friends, is survived by two sons, Robert Triplett, and his wife, Tabitha, of Richland, Missouri, and Raymond Triplett, and his wife, Jennifer, of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Samantha, Tayte, Raechel, Rebecca, Jaden, and Jonathan; two brothers, David Triplett and Gene Triplett, both of the State of Washington; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Wellsville, Kansas community where he received his education. He then continued to make his home in the Wellsville, Kansas area for the next several years. In the early 1980’s, he moved to Long Lane, Missouri, and made his home. He worked as an electrical engineer for Detroit Tool Company in Lebanon until 2001. He later moved into Lebanon and made his home. He also worked as a sound and lighting engineer for a local band.
Richard followed the Baptist faith throughout his life.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. . He also enjoyed visiting with his friends. His family is very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Richard was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
