Richard Wells' Obituary
Richard Allen Wells, son of Kelsey and Anna Kristolich Wells, was born August 19, 1948, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, November 16, 2011, in Christian Health Care South, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-three years, two months, and twenty-seven days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Christopher Wells.
Richard is survived by a son, Timothy Pease, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a brother, Mark Anthony Wells, of Phoenix, Arizona; five sisters, Cecile Burton, and her husband, Wallace, of Kimberling City, Missouri, Carolyn Moyland, and her husband, Lee, of West Des Moines, Iowa, Patricia Clark, and her husband, Ernest, Diane Wineinger, and her husband, Doug, all of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Michelle Fager, and her husband, David, of Cosby, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri, and graduated from Benton High School. He then served his country faithfully in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He made his home in Arizona for several years before moving back to Missouri. He spent five years in Jefferson City, Missouri, where he worked as a taxi cab driver, and for the last five years, had made his home in Lebanon.
Richard was raised in the Catholic faith and had attended St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were playing golf and fishing. He also was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team.
Richard was a loving father, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
