Richard M. Wrinkle (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Richard "Morgan" Wrinkle 95 of Bolivar, MO passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Colonial Springs Health Care Facility in Buffalo, MO. Morgan was born on June 28, 1928, to Joseph and Tennie Wrinkle. He graduated from Halfway High School where he was known for being a gifted basketball player. He married Lorene Lejeune and the couple had two children Dean and Rick. Morgan was saved at an early age and was a member of several Missionary Baptist Churches though out the years with Schofield Missionary Baptist Church being his final church home. He loved reading the Bible and was steadfast in his beliefs and loved sharing his faith with others. He retired from Foremost Dairy before settling into a full-time position on his and Lorene's farm. After some health issues He and Lorene moved to Bolivar where he once again changed careers and started driving for Fantastic Caverns. He was recently awarded his 50-year Masonic pin, an accomplishment he was extremely proud of. Morgan is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lorene; grandson, Chris Wrinkle; brothers, Carl and Donald Wrinkle; sisters, Wasolee Sewell and Catherine Hansen. Survivors include sons, Dean Wrinkle and his wife Janice and Rick Wrinkle and his wife Cindy; grandchildren, Sterling Jones (Earlisha) and Natascha Jones; granddaughter in-law Kim Wrinkle; sisters, Dorothy Loftis, Janice Smith and Wanda Perkins and her husband Gary; brothers, John Wrinkle and Junior Wrinkle and his wife Linda; great grandchildren, Kasen, Karsen, Riley, Evyn and Jack; along with several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Bro. Don Lane will conduct services 2:00 PM Saturday July 29, 2023, at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. A visitation will be held 1:00 PM ~ 2:00PM Saturday at the Butler Funeral Home. Morgan will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife in the Greenwood Cemetery.
