Ricky Crews' Obituary
Mr. Ricky Lee Crews, Jr., age 33, of Dadeville, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at St. John?s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born and raised in the rural area around Nevada, Missouri on October 5, 1977. He graduated from Nevada High School in 1996 and NEO A&M College in 1998.
He married Jennifer Marie Kenney on June 25, 1999 in Stockton, Missouri and became the proud Dad of Austin Kaleb Crews on December 28, 2000.
Ricky was the manager for Gordon?s Feed & Pet of Greenfield, Missouri since 2007 and a farmer all his life. He loved to bale hay and work with his cattle. He attended the Stockton Christian Church. He enjoyed deer hunting with Austin, working outdoors and helping his son get ready for horse shows.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother-in-laws, JoAnn Kenney and Maxine Williams.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his son, Austin, his parents, Ricky L. & Annette Crews of Nevada, Missouri, his sister, Brandi Whitworth and her husband Jake, one niece, Samantha, two nephews, Brandin & Bryce Whitworth all of Moundville, Missouri, his maternal grandmother, Betty Pritchett, his paternal grandmother, Loretta Crews, his mother & father-in-law, Steve & Kim Kenney, sister-in-law, Melissa Kenney, grandfather-in-law, Gail Williams, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday evening, July 8, 2011 at the Stockton Christian Church. Funeral service will be held at 10:30am, Saturday morning, July 9, 2011 at the church under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, Missouri. Burial will follow at Stockton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Park Pritchett, Sheridan Pritchett, Kenneth Ball, Mike Crews, Lincoln Hughes, and Justin Dampier. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Baker, Brandin Whitworth, Bryce Whitworth, Jake Whitworth and Kermit Pritchett.
