Ricky Dee Green (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ricky Dee Green, son of Robert George and Darlene Joyce Hines Green, was born June 5, 1961, in Smith Center, Kansas. He departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-four years, ten months, and twenty-two days.
On July 4, 1986, he was united in marriage to Carol Lee Cameron..
His father preceded him in death.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Darlene Green, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two daughters, Elizabeth Green, of Springfield, Missouri, and DeeLynn Ybarra, and her husband, Glenn, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two sons, Maxwell Green, of Springfield, Missouri, and Samuel Green, of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Oliver Maxwell Green, Miley Cameron Green, and Luella Ann Green; two brothers, Rusty Green, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Darrell Green, and his wife, Rhonda, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a sister, Melissa Dawn Green, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Kansas and then moved with his family to New Mexico when he was thirteen. After graduating from high school, he continued to live in New Mexico and married in 1986. The family moved to Lebanon, Missouri, in 1995, and Ricky worked for Independent Stave Company and Detroit Tool for several years.
Ricky enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were camping, fishing and deer and turkey hunting. He also liked cooking for his family and friends. His family was very important to him and he was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
Ricky was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service for Ricky Green will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, in the American Legion Hall, 2538 Evergreen Parkway in Lebanon.
