Robby Decker's Obituary
Robby Allen Decker, son of Ronnie Decker and Donna Edwards Barnes, was born June 28, 1977 in Mansfield, Missouri and departed this life on June 2, 2010 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of thirty-two years, eleven months and four days.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert Edwards and his paternal grandfather Wilber Lee Decker and an uncle, Junior Decker.
Robbie is survived by his son, Jaylen Decker of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; his mother, Donna Barnes and her husband Junior of Macomb, Missouri; his father Ronnie Decker of Manes, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Dessie Edwards of Mansfield, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Lillie Decker of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Marty Decker and his wife Diane of Springfield, Missouri, Jeff Decker of Macomb, Missouri; two step-brothers, Clint Barnes and wife Dawn and Terrell Barnes both of Springfield, Missouri; two aunts, Connie Hoover and husband Ernie of Mansfield, Susie Wood and husband Lee Wayne of Lebanon; six uncles, David Edwards and wife Teresa of Mansfield, Sammy Decker and wife Shirley, James Decker and wife Linda and Lonnie Decker all of Lebanon, Ricky Decker and wife Claudette of State of Georgia and Darrell Decker of State of Washington; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Robby was born and raised in Wright County and was a graduate of Mansfield High School in the Class of 1998.
Robby lived life to its fullest; he loved to go fishing and hunting whenever possible and enjoyed playing pool and drums as well as swimming, racing, and camping, and cooking for his family, especially his oldest brother, Marty. He also liked to drive eighteen wheelers.
He had recently started working at Copeland in Lebanon and enjoyed his job very much.
Robby’s son was the light of his life, he loved him dearly. He never met a stranger and had a knack for making friends everywhere he went.
Robby was a loving father, brother, son, grandson and nephew, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Mansfield, Missouri.
Burial will follow in Little Vine Cemetery, near Grovespring.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield.
