Robert E. Beckner, Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Robert Elbert Beckner, Jr., son of Robert Elbert and Sharon Beckner, was born September 8, 1964, in the State of Washington. He departed this life Sunday, November 3, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of fifty-five years, one month, and twenty-five days.
His parents preceded him in death.
Robert is survived by his significant other, Dana Farris, of Phillipsburg, Missouri; a son, Eric Beckner, of Lebanon, Missouri; a step-daughter, Ariel Reid, and her husband, Dylan, of Lebanon, Missouri; two step-sons, Jordan Wilson, of Sparta, Missouri, and Josh Stevens, and his wife, Allison, of Kimberling City, Missouri; three grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; a brother, Chuck Beckner, of Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Colleen Farrar, of the State of Colorado, Rebecca Beckner, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Roberta Schmied, of Buffalo, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the State of Washington, and then lived in various other places through the years. He had made his home in Lebanon, Missouri for the last several years. He was employed as a truck driver for the Old Dominion Transport Company for twenty years.
Driving a truck was his passion and he greatly enjoyed seeing the countryside. He was a fan of the Seattle Seahawks. He possessed a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. He was a loving and compassionate man.
Robert was a loving significant other, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a good friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
All services for Robert E. Beckner, Jr. will be private under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
