Robert "Bob" Wayne Maddux (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Robert “Bob” Wayne Maddux was born on May 31, 1932 in Tunas, MO to Olan and Neva (Johnston) Maddux. Bob went to meet his Lord Jesus on June 8, 2026 at the age of 94 years and seven days. Bob was saved at the age of 15 at Church Camp Arrowhead near Marshfield, MO. He was an active member of Wood Street Baptist Church in Lebanon, MO. Bob attended grade school in Charity, MO and graduated from Buffalo High School. He enlisted in the United States Army on November 12, 1952 and was honorably discharged on October 26, 1954. On February 1, 1959, Bob was united in marriage to Clara G. Exendine who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Bland Maddux; and one sister, Lois Atterberry. Bob is survived by a son, Marlan D. Myers and wife Linda; three grandchildren, Johnny Myers of Lake Ozark, MO, Rita and husband Mike Foster of Lebanon, MO, and Laura Whitten and Justin Melrose of Lebanon, MO. He also leaves a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Bob enjoyed serving the Lord Jesus and the fellowship of Wood Street Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed at home and Church but never forgotten. Heaven gained one more to walk the streets of pure gold and to receive his mansion in eternity. He will one day greet us with Jesus Christ as we enter thru the pearly gates of eternity. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Pastor David Arnold officiating. Escorts will be Marlan Myers, Wesley Burns, Wayne Burns, David Burns, Darrell Burns, and Mike Foster. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Maple Lawn Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Funeral Home to help with funeral costs.
