Robert "Bobby" Anderson Jr (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Robert William Anderson, Jr., son of Robert William Anderson, Sr. and Leah Harris Anderson, was born July 28, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life Monday, January 2, 2014 in his home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of sixty-three years, five months and five days.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, B.J. Byland of the home; two sisters, Patricia A. Haag of Jefferson City, Missouri and Debbie L. Anderson of Tebbets, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Mark Haag of Tebbets, Missouri; a niece, Michele L. Haag of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two step sons, Phillip Byland of Camdenton, Missouri and Doug Byland of Jefferson City, Missouri; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Kathryn Freeman another niece, Wendy Freeman both of Daytona Beach, Florida and any friends.
Bobby was raised in Chicago, Illinois and was a graduate of Danville High School in Danville, Illinois. He attended Danville Junior College before embarking on a career with his father’s company in Jefferson City, Missouri. He worked as a carpenter doing residential construction.
He made a profession of faith and was a member of the Community of Christ Church.
In his spare time, he loved playing golf and horseshoes and fishing. Most of all, time spent with family and friends was important to him.
He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, step-father and grandpa and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Dogwood Animal Shelter and left at the funeral home
