Please accept my condolences for your loss of your father, grandfather and great grand father. He was a great guy and will be missed by many.
I remember a few years ago Bob lent Mary and myself the use of his pickup for a date we had. I don't recall as to the actual reason he did this, besides his kind and generous nature, I may have been between vehicles or mine wasn't available or suitable. Anyhow, we were making our way back from Springfield and the headlights just went out! We ended up with just the parking lights which wasn't ample lighting at the time. We tried the flashers, they worked but it was a little hairy. I believe we ended up driving back with the hazards on and riding the brakes which illuminated the road the best we could possibly hope for. Lol
Come to find out the high beam floor switch was faulty if I'm not mistaken.
That was wild to say the least. I certainly didn't want to crash his vehicle.
He was a pretty cool guy.
The way he raised his cattle certainly made for the best burgers ever!
He was a really nice guy indeed.
He certainly lived a long life and raised some beautiful children and made a mark with his life.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Ryan Marttila
