Robert Lynn Crawford (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Robert Lynn Crawford of Lebanon, Missouri passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, in his home. He was born September 7, 1952 in Sedalia, Missouri to Thomas Crawford and Lou Zetta Folsom Crawford. At the time of his passing, he was seventy years, eight months and five days old.
Robert was raised in the Windsor, Missouri and Sedalia area. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army and following his eight years of service, he was discharged in June of 1979. He then moved to the Centralia and Sturgeon, Missouri area and worked as a deputy Sherriff for Boone County. He became a chemist and moved to Columbia, Missouri where he worked for the 3M Company. In 2000 he retired and moved to Lebanon, Missouri where he could enjoy one of his favorite hobbies, fishing, and the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deborah Sue Crawford; three sisters, Emma Ann, Jean and Louise; four brothers, William T., Norman Ray, Andrew James and Kenneth.
Robert is survived by three daughters, Lori Kittel and her husband, Joshua of Lebanon, Missouri; Robyn Stiers and her husband, Delbert of Fulton, Missouri and Jennifer Rogers and her husband, Loyd of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Robert Curtis Crawford and his wife, Stephanie of Fulton, Missouri and Karl E. Proctor, Sr. of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Bowman of Purdy, Missouri and Anita VonCannon of Augusta, Montana; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Robert had a great sense of humor and was a joke teller. He had lots of personality and was very patriotic. He loved to cook and enjoyed having people over to eat and visit.
He was a fun guy to hang out with. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed his grandchildren immensely. He was a hardworking and caring man and will be missed by his family and friends that loved him.
A memorial has been established for the Harry s. Truman VA Hospital and contributions may be made through the funeral Home.
