Robert Denny, Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Robert Harold Denny, Jr., son of Robert Harold Denny, Sr. and Ruth Marie Denny, was born December 25, 1951 in Miami, Oklahoma. He passed away Monday, July 6, 2026 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-four years, six months and twelve days.
Robert was born into a military family and moved several times as he was growing up. On July 26, 1977, he was united in marriage to Paula Burnette. They celebrated nearly forty-nine years together; building a life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Ruth Denny; his sister, Belita Kaminski; and his granddaughter, Vanecia Denny.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Paula Denny; his daughter, Katie Denny and her fiancée Jesse Foster; three sons, Shannon Denny, Kyle Denny and Robert Denny, III; his grandchildren, Rebekah, Amanda, Victoria, James, Amber, Makenzie, Michael, Kaiden, Shailynn, Braxton, Wesley and Lucas; and several great-grandchildren; his siblings, Bill Denny, Raymond Denny, Anita Bryant and Marie Denny Summers; and other relatives and friends.
Robert was an auto mechanic and owned and operated Bob’s 23rd Street Muffler Shop for several years. He was a hard worker and was well respected in his field.
He enjoyed coin collecting and had a great appreciation for antiques. Robert also enjoyed playing the guitar and tinkering on things.
Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He looked forward sharing ice cream and chocolates and spending time with them.
Robert believed in God and cherished his family. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them.
