Robert "Bob" Fox (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Robert James Fox, son of the late James & Edith Fox, was born on December 31, 1939 and departed this life on May 13, 2025. At the time of his passing, Robert was eighty-five years, four months and thirteen days of age.
Robert was preceded in passing by his parents; and his wife, Sally Fox.
He is survived by his two children, Diana & husband Richard Hueppchen and Michael Fox; three grandchildren, Matthew Szalay, Jennifer Szalay and Jonathan Vasey; and his special friend, Jeanne Harshman. In his passing, Robert also leaves behind many other friends who will all truly miss him.
Robert was born, raised and attended school in the area of Wheaton, Illinois. Following his schooling, he began working for Jewell Food Stores, working as a butcher for over thirty-five years. During his time working for Jewell, he would meet Sally Lester, and they would be united in marriage on August 11, 1980. Following his retirement to Lake of the Ozarks, he began volunteer work for Lake Regional Hospital for twenty-five plus years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing, trapshooting and thoroughly enjoyed his time volunteering at the hospital, creating life-long friendships and memories.
Robert was a loving father, grandfather and a caring neighbor & friend. Together we celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m., in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions payable to Lake Regional Auxiliary/Volunteer.
