Robert Leroy Hager (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Robert Leroy Hager, son of George Robert Herman and Laura L. Fisher Hager, was born, May 20, 1941 in Fish Creek, Missouri. He departed this life, March 5, 2019, in University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri at the age of Seventy seven years, nine months and thirteen days.
On January 21, 1971 at First Baptist Church in Marshall, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Janest E. and to this union two children were born. Together they shared Forty eight years of marriage
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Charles, Johnny and Bill Hager and one grandchild Kristen Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Janest Hager of Montreal, Missouri,; children, Christopher Hager of Montreal, Missouri and Samantha Dove and husband Matthew of Warsaw, Missouri,; step-children, Jim Morris and wife Amy of Arizona, Mark Hager of Marshall, Missouri, Shawn Hager of Marshall, Missouri, and Robert Matthew (Mickey) of Wilmington, North Carolina,; Grandchildren, Conner Morris, Crystal Rodenbaugh, Jordan Dove, Ella Dove and eleven other grandchildren, one sister, Lorraine Knox of Slater, Missouri,; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Robert was raised in Slater, Missouri and graduated from Slater High School in 1960 and made his home at the lake since 1977. Robert was a the President on the Montreal Fire Department Board.
In his spare time he enjoyed watching old movies, playing solitaire, spending time with family and with his dog Wheelie. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
