Patsy and family. I am so sorry that Bob has died. Each time I met him he had a warm smile to greet me. His name was an easy one for me to remember, as my first boss out of college was also Robert W Hill. Thank you Patsy for all you do. Ron
I was so blessed to be a part of the Hill family. After my own father’s death in 1991, Bob stepped into the role of Dad. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He loved to tell jokes, usually the same few over and over again. He would start a story, and if you made a face like “oh, not this one again”, he would look over and say, “oh, have you heard it?” But I never got tired of his jokes. My all time favorite was “the thermos”. I miss you, Bob, and will always love you.
To know Bob was to know a kind, sincere, man who always left you laughing. He was my children's grandfather. He was one of a kind and is free at last. He loved all of his family no matter what circumstances were put in front of him. Rest In Peace, you will be missed and loved by all who knew you!
I will never forget you uncle Bob. You were my favorite. Sitting on the deck listening to your stories
Especially about old Blue and the bbq have put a smile on my face every time I think about how you loved to tell it. Thank you for the laughter and very wise advice during our conversations. I will remember what you said. I love you and will see you on the other side. Now go dance with angels! Love you your niece.❤️
Bob was predeceased by his son, Robert William Andrew Hill III. Robert's children, Robert IV, Blake, and Katie, Jeni's children Matthew, Samuel, and Alexander brought much joy to his life, along with their children, his great grands Kristin, Gabriel, Mina, Caspian, Brady, Tyler, Harper, Saylor, and the youngest Hill yet to be named. His family was the most important thing in the world to him.
Bob was a long time businessman in Osage Beach as owner of Lake Area Tire and Service. He volunteered many hours in his community at Lake Medical Center and as a Rotarian. Bob never knew a stranger and everyone he touched knew they were a better person for having known him.
