Robert Knight Berrier (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Robert Knight Berrier, son of David Lee and Joe Ann Yerton Berrier, was born November 6, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He departed this life Friday, December 10, 2010, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-seven years, one month, and four days.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Robert is survived by his former wife and caretaker, Tammie Barrier, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Barbara Jo Berrier, of Green Valley, Missouri, and Twanna Hardesty, of Mt. Pleasant, Illinois; a son, Robert E. Berrier, of Eldon, Missouri; two sisters, Connie Renee Elliott, of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Sheila Kay King, of San Jose, California; a brother, Timothy Berrier, of Waynesville, Missouri; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Richard Massey, of Madisonville, Kentucky, and Jeremy Massey, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He grew up in a military family, and lived in several places across the country. The family located to Waynesville, Missouri, where Robert graduated from high school. He lived in the Lebanon and Camdenton communities, working at various jobs, including delivering newspapers, working at Lee C. Fine Airport at Osage Beach, and most recently at Voyager Marine as a Pontoon Line Supervisor. He was a hard worker and made sure his family was provided for.
Robert was a member of Community Baptist Church.
He enjoyed collecting records, especially "classic" rock 'n roll and doo-wop, and loved to dance. Robert was also a race fan. He was a quiet person who enjoyed his privacy.
Robert was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends.
