Robert L. Reeves' Obituary
Robert Leroy Reeves, son of Hershel and Donna Rae Dukes Reeves, was born January 20, 1941, in Chariton, Iowa. He departed this life Saturday, July 1, 2006, in St. John’s Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years, five months, and eleven days. Robert is survived by his parents, Hershel and Donna Reeves, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Terry L. Reeves, and Gary L. Reeves, both of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Vickie Helton, and her husband, Kenneth, and Barbara Johnson, and her husband, Duard, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in the Lebanon community and graduated from Lebanon High School. He then worked for the Hamilton-Kent Gasket Manufacturing Company in Kansas City, Missouri, Reno, Nevada, and Houston, Texas for many years. He recently had returned to Lebanon and made his home. Robert was saved and baptized early in his life at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lebanon. He was an avid movie watcher, and especially enjoyed science fiction films. He also liked playing games. He was a kind hearted man who was very close to his family. Robert was a loving son, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he made for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Memorial contributions to St. John's Lebanon Heritage Foundation Cancer Center may be made through the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
