Robert Vernon Parker, age 96, of Halfway, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at his home in Halfway.
Robert was born on November 15, 1915 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Arvel W. Parker and Anna M. (Jenkins) Parker.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Arvel and Anna, his wife; Marcia Parker, one sister; Iona Stout, a brother; Paul Parker, and a son-in-law; Gerald Sellers.
He is survived by his son; Stephen Parker of Green Valley, Arizona, two daughters; Donna James of Bolivar, Missouri, and Susan (Parker) Sellers of Merriam, Kansas, along with 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
