It was my pleasure to be Mr. Plasters mailman at his Highland Beach Florida residence. I have fond memories of our interactions when he was in town . He was such a gracious man and always took the time to visit with me . I found his sincere interest in our conversations very genuine and heart warming. Over the years he would write to me personally expressing his appreciation for the level of service and care I provided him with forwarding his mail to Missouri . Treasure his friendship.

I remember I was in a gas station in Missouri about 20 minutes from Mr Plasters house. I filled my tank up and for some reason my card got declined. He was behind me and I heard " don't worry honey I'll get it" as he spoke to the cashier. Not only did he pay for 56.00 in gas but handed me 200$ to make sure I got home to Indiana. I didn't know who he was until years later. I wish I could thank him. I'd love to tour his home if anyone in his family would permit. My email is [email protected].
