Robert Leo Rubles (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Robert “Leo” Rubles was born on July 21, 1945 to John Henry and Cloe Ethel Appleberry Rubles. He left this life to meet his Lord on August 29, at 10:40 p.m. 2021.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Henry Clay, Donne Dee and Lonnie Lee; two sisters, Katherine Jane and Mary Lou; one grandson, James “Matthew”; and several nephews.
Leo is survived by his wife, Carolyn of forty-seven years; three beautiful daughters, Rena, Sarah and LaNez; plus twelve amazing grandchildren, Cora, Mikayla, Isaac, Nathan, Dorian, Ava, Jacob, Elijah, IceAlyn, Jonah, Annabelle and Elizabeth; also two siblings, Leslie Rubles and Connie Anderson.
Leo loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. In the last few years he made friends at the complex, which a few (in the 80’s) he said was his girlfriends. Leo loved all who knew him, and especially his wife. When asked about his job, he would say anything to provide for my family.
Throughout his life he had his fair share of misfortune and pain, but his life was always full of happiness and fun. He had a lifetime of wonderful memories and we are blessed if we got to share any of them with him.
Now, he is living in a mansion in his new home called Heaven. He is with Jesus and he isn’t in a wheelchair anymore! He is walking the streets made of gold. If he could say something to us right now, I wonder what it would be.
Services for Mr. Rubles will be Friday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.
