Robin Gilmore (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Robin Elizabeth Gilmore was born March 14, 1954, Robin Elizabeth Hoover, in Kankakee Illinois, born to Naomi Dean Moore (Elliott) and James Everett (BUD) Hoover, and she passed away on the morning of September 8, 2018 in her home after being diagnosed with Stage IV Liver cancer. She is preceded in death by her Daddy Bud. She is survived by her Mom, Naomi Dean Elliott of Buffalo, Mo., Her siblings, Dekin Hoover of Buffalo, Mo., Jody and Squeak Hoover of Springfield, Mo., Randy Hoover, Sherry Berry of Buffalo, Mo. and family. Robin is also survived in death, by her Children, Kenneth Claude Vaughan and wife Flessia of Louisburg, Mo., daughter Angela and David Parrent of Buffalo, Mo., and Anthony Vaughan of Buffalo, Mo. She is also leaving behind seven grandchildren: Nick, Sammy, Matt, Robin, Anna, Katie and Aaron, three great grandchildren Evelyn, Johnny and Ellie as well as several nieces and nephews.
She loved watching her humming birds and taking care of the “wild life”, chickens, and dogs around the house. She was a long standing member of the community as most knew her from Doctor Dugas Chiropractic as the greeter and money taker - she kinda ran the place for 24 years. Those that knew her would say she was full of life, love, and laughter and that family was the most important part of her life. There will be a candlelight memorial service on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 7pm at Calvary Chapel in Buffalo, Missouri.
