Roger Gray (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Roy Roger Gray, son of Roy and Cledith Caudle Gray was born December 30, 1947, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life on February 3, 2015, in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, one month, and three days.
Roger was united in marriage to Lynn Calhoun and to this union one daughter was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, an infant sister and the mother of his daughter, Lynn.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Heather Garrison and her husband, Steve of Macomb, Missouri; an aunt, Loretta Hall of Macomb, Missouri, as well as other relatives and many friends.
Roger lived all of his life in the Macomb/Mansfield area. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School in the Class of 1965. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Roger was a truck driver and delivered propane for over thirty years as well as driving tour busses, dump trucks, and hauling milk.
He was a member of the Norwood and Mansfield Masonic Lodges, Scottish Rite and Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple, where he was very active and enjoyed the fellowship.
Roger was a loving father and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will always remember the many good times we had together.
