Roger Teubner (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Roger Lee Teubner, son of George and Alice Wall Teubner, was born November 24, 1957, in Waynesville, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, May 3, 2018, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, five months, and nine days.
On March 3, 1978, he was united in marriage to Judy A. Jones, and to this union two sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a son, Brian Lee Teubner.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Judy, of the home; a son, Brandon Teubner, of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his mother, Alice Teubner, of Lebanon, Missouri; five brothers, Ronnie Teubner, and his wife, Shirley, Paul Teubner, John Teubner, and his wife, Angie, Steve Teubner, and his wife, Grace, and Charles Teubner all of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Sandra Shaw, and her husband, Nathan, of the State of Texas, and Marlene Hewitt, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Laclede County in the Conway and Morgan area, and graduated from Conway High School. After he and Judy were married, they made their home in the Lebanon area and lovingly raised their sons. Roger was employed by Detroit Tool Company for forty-one years, and worked in the digital metal products division.
Roger had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Mount Zion (Cuba) Freewill Baptist Church, near Grovespring. He was active in all phases of church work and was serving as Deacon.
In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, was active in several different leagues and had bowled six 300 games. He also liked to go fishing. He was very loyal and dependable and always gave his all to whatever he was doing. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
Memorial donations to Integrity Hospice or Cuba Cemetery may be made through the funeral home.
