Romona Jean Hamilton (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Ramona Jean (Vinyard) Hamilton died Nov. 10, 2022, from cancer.
She was born Feb.18, 1950, to Junior and Juanita Vinyard. She grew up on the family farm in Marshfield, Missouri. She attended Elkland School and graduated from Marshfield High School in 1968.
She retired from the University of Missouri Extension after 28 years. She retired 5 years later from the Dallas County Health Department.
Romona is survived by Floyd Sweaney, Denny and Lisa Hamilton, Gina and Carl Morgan, David and April Sweaney, Nick Houston; grandchildren, Delaney and Danny Yocom, Arielle Morgan, Joseph Sweaney, Juniper Sumners, Allison Sweaney, Asher Yocom; brothers and sisters, Becky and Tom Garton, John and Vicki Vinyard, Joe and Maynell Vinyard, Jim and Tammy Vinyard, Nancy Fisher, Kathy and Duane Patterson; her dog Bo and cat Happy.
Services for Romona will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Cantlon Otterness & Viets in Buffalo, Missouri, with Josh Vinyard officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. At her request, memorial contributions may be made to the Newborn's in Need in Springfield, MO Chapter through the funeral home.
