Ron was a larger than life person - hard working and a big heart. He and Verlin very caring and generous people. I can remember him coming to “rescue” my Bailey from another forced walk and take her home in his golf cart. Honored to call him a friend. Many laughs over the years. He will be missed.
Ron never refused when you asked for help. He would come by if he saw you might need help. He might get irritated but never angry. Never heard him cuss. He called me Bocce Boy and I called him Uncle Ron. In warm weather he loved to sit outside in the morning and greet everyone going to work. He would get up in the middle of the night if it was snowing so he could clear the road so neighbors could drive safely to work. He was the only person I ever saw who could yell weird noises and thirty deer would come and feast on the corn he spread. Ron’s legacy will be that he will never be forgotten.
Our family loved Ron…he was another grandfather to our son Matt. He always put other peoples needs above his own. He was loud, but jolly, always sharing a story and laughter. God bless you Ron!
