Ronald Perry Evans (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Ronald Perry Evans, son of the late Leland Henry and Luella Pearl (Johnson) Evans was born on September 27, 1952 in Long Lane, Missouri, and departed this life on October 21, 2019 at his home near Long Lane, Missouri. At the time of his passing he was 67 years and 23 days of age.
Ronald was reared and attended school in Long Lane and Buffalo, Missouri. After his schooling he went to work for H. D. Lee in Lebanon, Missouri. He also worked as an over the road Truck Driver and Bartender at the American Legion. Ronald was always a hard-working man and enjoyed taking care of his family and friends. He was married to Rosie Sturdevant and to this union two children were born, both of whom survive him. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. His family was the most important to him and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara (Evans) Woy. He is survived by one son, Brian & wife Jennifer Evans of Florida; one daughter, Chrissy Evans of Long Lane, MO; one brother, James & wife Rita Evans of Lebanon, MO; three sisters, Marcella Kirk of Nevada, Janice & husband Stan Lauder of Long Lane, MO, and Anita Evans of Long Lane, MO; and seven grandchildren, Alyssa Anthony, Caleb Fraley, Chelsey Evans, Emily Leach, Ricky Leach, Ronnie Leach, and Emmy. He also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
