Ronald Fetters (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ronald "Ron" Faye Fetters, son of Robert Faye and Violet Hickman Fetters, was born, January 3, 1943 in Osceola, Iowa. He departed this life, September 25, 2018, in his home in Macks Creek, Missouri, at the age of seventy-five years, eight months and twenty two days.
On June 30, 1963, in Springfield, Missouri he was united in marriage to Linda Lea Rogers and to this union three children were born. Together they shared fifty-five years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David Fetters.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Fetters of Macks Creek, Missouri; daughter, Michelle Givens and husband John (Reb) of Windermere, Florida; sons, Ryan Fetters and wife Allison of Hixson, Tennessee and Robert Fetters and wife Judy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; five grandchildren, J.W. Givens and wife Tuyet, Anya Givens, Jeb Fetters, Grace Fetters and Abbie Rose Fetters; two great-grandchildren, J.T. Givens and Tia Givens; brother, Larry Fetters and wife Jenny of Iowa and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ronald was raised in Milo, Iowa and graduated from Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa. He went on to be a truck driver for Little Debbie, raised chickens on the family farm and then went on to work in healthcare.
Ronald was baptized at 12 years of age and was a current member of Branch Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
In his spare time he loved the water, snorkeling, and took scuba diving lessons.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments an will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Branch Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church, Macks Creek, Missouri. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery, Rogersville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Friday, September 28, 2018 in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Fetters Technology Fund at Ozark Adventist Academy and can be mailed to 20997 E. Dawn Hill Rd., Gentry, AR 72734 to the attention of Donald Upson or left at the funeral home.
