Ronald Glenn Breakfield (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ronald Glenn Breakfield, son of Robert F. and Pearl Pugh Breakfield, was born January 28, 1949, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, October 3, 2010, in Select Specialty Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, eight months, and five days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Breakfield; and a sister, Marilyn Breakfield.
Ron is survived by a nephew, Dave Gradine, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and graduated from high school. He then moved to California, where he began a forty-five year career as a chef. He worked in various notable restaurants across Southern California, including the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Los Angeles. He moved back to Lebanon about sixteen years ago and had worked at the Lebanon Country Club for awhile.
Ron followed the Catholic faith throughout the years.
He greatly enjoyed visiting Disneyland and was a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings football team. In the last few years he had taken up gardening and growing flowers.
We celebrate Ron’s life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
