Ronald Hamme's Obituary
Ronald Monroe Hamme, son of Cecil P. and Faye Carpenter Hamme, was born Tuesday, March 12, 1935, in Longford, Kansas. He departed this life Monday, April 27, 2009, in his home, Camdenton, Missouri, at the age of seventy four years, one month and fifteen days. He was raised in Kansas and was a graduate of Dickinson County Community High School in the Class of 1953. He lived in Kansas until he retired to the Lake of the Ozarks ten years ago. He was united in marriage to Betty Gail Burns on December 12, 2002, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He worked as a rural mail carrier for most of his adult life and also was a farmer and was an antique dealer. Ron was saved at an early age and attended Myetta Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the lake, and boating and fishing were his passions. He was also a pilot and enjoyed flying whenever he could. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. A kind and friendly man, a loving husband, father and grandfather, he leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Betty Hamme of the home; three daughters, Natalie L. Litty of Camdenton, Missouri, Charlotte A. Cronin of Austin, Texas, and Melissa G. Gregory of Columbia, Missouri; three grandchildren, Corry T. Basler, Derek Murray and Madison Gregory; his mother-in-law, Julie Burns; and a host of brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday April 29, 2009 at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral home in Camdenton. Burial will be in the Myetta Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Wednesday until time of service under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri. A memorial has been established to the Myetta Cemetery. Donatins may be made through the funeral home. Return to top
