Ronald Lee Jackson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ronald Lee Jackson, son of Alfred C. and Emma Churchill Jackson, was born May 2, 1948, near Morgan, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in his home, near Grovespring, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, six months, and twenty-three days.
On August 17, 1991, he was united in marriage to Maryann Tampow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Merlin and Marvin Jackson.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; his special friend, Linda Bowles, of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, Dean Jackson, and his wife, Koretta, Tommy Goodenough, all of Springfield, Missouri, and Vegas Jackson, of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alvin Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, and Jerry Jackson, all of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Morgan community and attended Morgan School and Conway High School. He then made his home in the Grovespring area and worked in the car business for a number of years.
He was a fun loving guy who never met a stranger and had an appreciation for the opposite sex. He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. He also liked playing Rook and pool and loved animals. He was always willing to help others, especially his friends and neighbors. To know him was to love him and he had many close friends.
Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home. Visitation will follow the service.
