Ronald H. Kolstedt (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Ronald H. Kolstedt, son of George and Ellen Kolstedt, was born on July 10, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, and departed this life on March 23, 2025 at his home in Springfield, Missouri.
Ron attended Lane Tech High School and University of Illinois and studied engineering. He worked for AT&T for 32 years as an electrical engineer. He went on to become a District Manager. His work took him to Detroit, Naperville, Chicago and Cincinnati. Ron retired to the mountains of North Carolina for 28 years and finally to Springfield, Missouri. He and Clare did a lot of travel to foreign countries and photographed all of it. While living at Fremont Senior Living, Ron shared his videos with people in independent and assisted living-they were enjoyed and appreciated. Ron had a keen sense of humor and always had a joke ready for the telling.
Ron is survived by his wife Clare, his son David and his wife Kris, his son Larry and sister Susan Gibson and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Fremont Senior Living on Friday, March 28th at 1:30 pm.
