Ronald Pendergrass (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ronald Eugene Pendergrass, son of Clyde Joseph and Mary Barbarich Pendergrass, was born January 21, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, June 13, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-four years, four months, and twenty-three days.
He was preceded in death by his father; a granddaughter, Naomi; and a brother, Clyde Pendergrass.
Ronald is survived by three sons, Joshua Pendergrass, of Lebanon, Missouri, Timothy Pendergrass, and his wife, Brittany, of Richland, Missouri, and Samuel Pendergrass, of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Kailab, Rebecca, Emily, Isaiah, Maximus, Penelope, and Kierstyn; his mother, Mary Pendergrass, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Craig Pendergrass, and his wife, Teresa, of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Brenda Cowan, and Lisa Randall, both of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Stoutland community, and graduated from Stoutland High School. He entered the military as a young man, and served his country faithfully in the United States Navy for several years. He then worked in the family sawmill for twelve years, and then began a career in maintenance work. He had worked as a maintenance technician for Tyler Piping in Marshfield, Missouri, for the last several years.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and playing golf. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
Ronald was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
