Ronald Dale Pitts, age 80, of Urbana, Missouri, a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War entered into rest on October 1, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Ronald was born on June 3, 1943, in Auburn California to the late Jesse Lee and Marjorie Gladys Pitts.
Ronald enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved to watch the wildlife wonder about his property. He was fond of all animals. Ronald loved to care for his lawn and mow the grass to perfection. Above all, Ronald loved his family. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Ronald was preceded by his parents, brothers Melvin and David Pitts, and sister Linda Cole. He is survived by his sisters Retha Greene, Carol Friesen and husband Ken, son Ryan Pitts and wife Michelle, daughter Peggy Sparks, grandchildren Regena Ennis, Freddie Mclaughlin, Brooklyn Poling and husband Dustin, Rylee Pitts, Jaxon Pitts, Carter Pitts, great grandchildren Gannon, Ensley and River Poling, Magdalena, Scotty, and Evelyn Heritage, Danika, and Fern Ennis, Kingston Mclaughlin, and many nieces and nephews.
Ronald will be laid to rest in a private service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo.
