Ronald L Rhodes (Seymour)'s Obituary
Ronald “Ronny” Lynn Rhodes was born Sunday, September 2, 1956 in Pamona, California to Manuel Beaford Rhodes and Gwin Nell (Haynes) Rhodes. He passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 in his home. He spent his childhood in California, moving to Missouri in the late 1970’s. He was of the Christian faith and had enjoyed volunterring for many years in Springfield, Missouri with “A Sporting Chance”. Hunting and fishing was how he liked to spend his spare time.
Ronny was a jack-of-all trades and had worked doing various skilled trades such as tool and die work and in the past few years he had made some good friends while being a driver for some in our Amish community.
He is survived by his companion Beverly Small of the home; a son and daughter-in-law Dustin and Laura Rhodes of Battlefield, Missouri; a daughter and son-in-law Amy Jean and Travis Dean of Ozark, Missouri; two sisters Joanne Massoni and husband Jeff of Seymour, Missouri and Janice Schroeder of Marshfield, Missouri; a brother Danny Rhodes and wife Cindy of Highlandville, Missouri as well as seven grandchildren, Hadley Rhodes, Skyla Hardy, Emily Hardy, Forest Birdsong, Alice Dean, Antonio Small and Markese Small.
Ronny was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Johnny Michael Rhodes who died in infancy and Manuel B. “Junior” Rhodes in 2014.
Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
