Ronald Dean Slover (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Ronald Dean Slover, son of the late Emmanuel and Madge (Cornett) Slover, was born on February 7, 1940 and departed this life on October 24, 2022. At the time of his passing, he was eighty-two years, eight months and seventeen days of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Elizabeth Snelson; and one sister, Phyllis Dunlap.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Slover; five daughters, Penny and husband Mark Meyer, Lisa and husband Jim Armstrong, Rhonda and husband Tony Balducci, Amy Scola and Bridget and husband Michael Maroney; twelve grandchildren, Johnathan, Kelly, Christopher, Louis, Anna, Alison, Melissa, Andrew, Abby, Nicholas, Woodrow and Madeline; aunt and uncle, Danny and wife Cathy Dunlop; and nephew, Danny Dunlop Jr. He also leaves behind many friends and family who will all truly miss him.
Ronald was raised in Du Quoin, Illinois where he later graduated from high school. Following his high school graduation, he was a truck driver for Dallas & Mavis Specialized Carrier Company, earning the Safe Truck Driving Award, for 13 years of safe driving, and later became an associate at Wal-Mart.
In 2006, Ronald was united in marriage to Donna Poe, in Camdenton, Missouri.
In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, fishing and just spending time on the water.
He was a loving and a caring husband, father, grandfather, neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
