Ron worked for Mitchem Tire for over 40 years. During this time, he was a tire salesman and store manager. Ron enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hunter and fisherman. He loved to be on the family farm in Thomasville. Ron grew a garden each year he was able, including this year. He took pride in growing large tomatoes. He enjoyed sitting on his back deck, drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and watching his hummingbirds. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR. Most of all, Ron loved being with his family. He loved his grandchildren, watching them every summer, and his dog Murphy. They were the light of his life.
