Roni Denise Bone (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Roni Denise Bone, age 66, passed away October 9,2021 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Denise was born August 2, 1955, in Bartlesville Oklahoma to Ronald and Neva Mildred (Dowell) Ballard. Denise moved to Elkland, Missouri with her family when she was 9 years-old and attended Fair Grove schools until 1971. At the age of 16 she married the love of her life, Randall Carl Bone, at her parents’ home in Elkland, Missouri. Their first home together was in Anchorage, Alaska while Randy was serving in the U.S Army. After Randy was discharged, they made their home in Buffalo, Missouri. They had two children; Clinton Carl and Melissa Dawn. In 1982 she came to know the Lord and was saved and baptized. She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church in Elkland.
Denise worked at various jobs taking care of the family farm and trucking business. She enjoyed gardening flowers and taking care of her grandchildren. She loved attending family reunions in Oklahoma and catching up with family and friends.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Neva Mildred (Dowell) Ballard; her father-in-law, Archie Bone; her brother-in-law, Tracy Bone; and her aunt and uncle, Max and Betty Powders. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randy Bone; two children, Clinton Carl Bone and wife Amy of Gerald, MO and Melissa Dawn (Bone) Potter and husband Randy of Willard, MO; six grandchildren, Clayton Carl Bone and wife Shayla, Macie Mires, Gage Mires, Wyatt Bone, Halle Engelbrecht, and Hunter Engelbrecht; two great-grandchildren, Colton Carl Bone and Cambria Bone; her beloved Boston Terrier, Bella Bone; two brothers, Dan Dowell of Arlington, TX and Ted Ballard of Marshfield, MO; and a host of other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Bro. Dennis Skinner officiating. Escorts will be Matt Strickland, Clayton Bone, Randy Potter, Jim Rogers, Gage Mires, and Wyatt Bone. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Reynold’s Chapel Cemetery fund.
