Ronnie Eugene Martin (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Ronnie Eugene Martin, born on May 12, 1947, peacefully passed away on December 22, 2023.
Ronnie is survived by his son, Thomas Martin, and daughter-in-law, Sarah, of Fair Grove, MO, as well as his daughter, Kari Boyles, and son-in-law, John, of Niangua, MO. He is also remembered fondly by Sherri Pippen of Springfield, MO, and Terry Bradley of Bolivar, MO. Ronnie's vibrant spirit lives on through his grandchildren, Lane and Dakota Boyles, Reagan, Payton, Lillian, and Matison Martin, and Dairian Erickson. Additionally, he is survived by his niece, Leigh Ann Alford, and cousin, Pepper Guthrie.
Preceding Ronnie in death were his wife, Patsy Martin, his brother, Gerald "Gary" Martin, his mother, Thelma Peppers Martin, and his father, Oval Martin.
Born in Tulsa, OK, Ronnie graduated from Windyville High School in 1966, shortly after serving a brief stint in the US Army where he was medically discharged. After returning home he attended and graduated from Draughn Business College with and accounting degree. On August 16, 1974, he married Patsy Kahler, and together they embraced a lifetime of shared moments.
A dedicated lifetime member of Amvets Post 117, Ronnie's commitment to service extended beyond his family and into the community.
A visitation will be held at Amvets Post 117 in Buffalo on Thursday January 4th from 10 A.M – 12 P.M with graveside services to be held Friday January 5th at 11 A.M at Peppers Cemetery in Windyville MO. Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
