Rosa Etta Bays (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Rosa Bays went home to be with Jesus Sunday, October 20, 2013, from Citizens Memorial Healtcare Facility, in Bolivar, Missouri. She will be meeting her parents, Cora and Gentry Farmer, her husband Clarence Bays, and Sons Kent, and Ronnie, along with several grandchildren, brothers and sisters, when she arrives.
She left behind to miss her, two daughters, Janice Powell and husband John, of Bolivar, and Gloria Fay Simpson, of Bolivar, five sons, Larry Bays of Bolivar, Garry Bays and wife Bonnie of Halfway, Jackie Bays and wife Janet of Halfway, Rodney Bays, of Halfway, and Alan Bays and wife Sheila, of Halfway, Two Brothers, Floyd Farmer and Lovell Farmer, and one sister, Shirley Arther, one Brother-in-law, Earshel Bays and Wife Carolyn, eighteen Grandchildren, twenty-eight Great-grandchildren, and eight Great-great-grandchildren, who loved their Grandmother, aka “Grandma Rosie”, very, very much! They always looked forward to her homemade cookies, doughnuts, and hot rolls, but most of all her smile that told them they were loved very much. She took great pride in her family, which was five generations long. She was long time member at the Goodson Missionary Baptist Church.
